Who Doesn’t Love Pink Hair?

If you want to party like a rock star, you’ve got to look like a rock star – right? Well, we wouldn’t expect anything less from Katy Perry or Nicki Minaj.

A few weeks ago, at the Grammy nominations concert, both lovely ladies debuted brand new, candy-coloured hair hues. Yes, both Ms. Perry and Ms. Minaj were seen sporting bright pink hair.

Though the two pop stars don’t usually look too much alike, they did cross paths with at least the same colour hair. Minaj wore her hair in a sleek, long pink wig that flowed in the breeze. It was a lovely – and lively – complement to her simple blue strapless dress. Ms. Perry had her pinkalicious hair in an up-do with a long piece down in the front.

We’re pretty sure she used her ghd styler to accomplish the look. It’s only fitting since she is one of the latest spokes-models for the top-of-the-line straighteners. Perry’s dress matched her hair perfectly. Her dress was also strapless.

You know what else is pretty nifty about these ladies’ matching hair? They also matched in the number nominations – Minaj getting two nominations for Best New Artist and Best Rap Performance, respectively. Perry was nominated twice as well – Song of the Year for “Firework” and Best Pop Solo Performance.
