Spain’s Princess Letizia is always pushing the envelope – of fashion. This past autumn she stepped out in sexy snakeskin shoes. As the winter approached, the regal royal gave us a flash of bright orange. Most recently, she’s sported a new haircut.

The new “do” is sexy, simple and very chic. We wouldn’t expect anything less from Princess Letizia, who is always ready to share her fashion sense with the world. The one thing we can’t figure out is which ghd styler she probably uses. What do you think?

Her new hairdo is great, to say the least, but it works perfectly when combined with her signature outfit – a solid colour suit (pants or skirt, depending on her mood – and the weather) with some killer high heels and really fun accessories. Usually, her go-to accessory is an animal print bag or some sexy snakeskin stilettos, but sometimes she surprises us with bright solid colours.

A lot of you fashionistas out there could learn a lesson or two from Princess Letizia. Just by watching her style evolution, it is made apparent that you don’t need to overdo it. Her mantra must be that age-old adage, “less is more.”

As a mother of two, Princess Letizia probably has to play it safe most of the time. That’s precisely why her safe choice of solid colour suits – usually neutrals such as navy blue, taupe, and black – work so well. She still looks like someone’s mum, but a fashion-forward mum at that.
